On October 13, the 5th “Print-Rite innovative award” presentation ceremony was held at the Zhuhai Air Pavilion. The awards had been presented to Ms. Song (宋寶珍), Institute of Process Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, for her "Colorless toner and Processing method for color laser printer" and other works of six patents and Mr. Sun (孫博陽), Zhuhai College of the Jilin University, for his "Integrated CISS PC system” and other 5 creative works.

A 3-meter high of mosaic structure of “天威杯“ characters , which made of 1,400 used inkjet bottles, symbolizes the achievements of the skyrocketing growth numbers of patents through the collective effort in the green technology and innovation of the industry since 2007.

Two hundred some creative works, ranging from printer consumables to daily households, had been submitted to the “Creative Category” competition on the theme of “Green Innovation” via the microblogging platform within 2 months; this signified that the eco-friendly and innovation lifestyle gradually implanted in many ordinary people

On September 26, the 4th “Print-Rite Innovation Award” presentation ceremony was held at the Zhuhai Air Pavilion.

The organizer puts up the slogan of the contest - “Respect for the Intellectual Property, Promote Innovation and Design, Flourish in green economy” had brought in numbers of printer consumables designers and university students’ entries, from Jiangsu, Shandong, Guangdong and other places, and had presented several category awards to 8 original designs and patents during the event.

Secretary-General of the Chinese Computer Industry Association stated that in order to cope with global competition, China printer consumables industry has been undergoing an evolution from the manufacture-oriented base to the innovative technology and design–oriented arena. In addition, Chairman Arnald Ho agreed on the importance of the corporate social responsibility contributing to the community and the future generation through eco-friendly and energy saving development.

Over 230 guests and staff members of Print-Rite attended the annual dinner at Renaissance Harbour View Hotel Hong Kong on 15 January.  Programme of the event included: Chairman Speech, Table Prize Game, Print-Rite Charity 10th Anniversary Souvenir Presentation Ceremony & Cake Cutting Ceremony, Entertainment Show and Guest Lucky Draw.

Found in December 1999, this year is the 10th anniversary of Print-Rite Charity Foundation.  It is also a milestone to mark the continuing efforts of members and sponsors in fulfilling the mission of a brighter future for people in need.

The inauguration ceremony of Print-Rite Tower was held on October 15, 2009.   Print-Rite Tower is situated at the Zhuhai Park of Zhuhai-Macao Cross-Border Industrial Zone.  It comprises two buildings on the premises of 8,177m².  The total construction floor area is 24,728m².  The 11-storey main building will have dedicated floors for a national standard laboratory, an ISO27001 standard data centre and a call centre which can accommodate over 100 customer services staff.  There are also floors reserved for VMI suppliers that are equipped with sophisticated distribution facilities. 

Print-Rite Tower will be a business hub for commerce, trade, new products exhibition, meetings, training and seminars.  In the future, it will become the centres of customer service, marketing, storage & distribution of Print-Rite and the base for new project development.

The 3rd Print-Rite Innovation Award Ceremony was held during Remax Asia Pacific 2009 (Oct 14-16, 2009). 

The Print-Rite Innovation Award has always been recognized as a prestige award of the printer consumables industry and it has been one of the key highlights in Remax Asia Pacific since 2007.  Its aim is to encourage creativity, innovation, original design, competition equality as well as the awareness of intellectual property rights of the printer consumables industry.  Around 600 entries were received this year with quite a number of entries from students of some major universities like Sun Yat-sen University, Jilin University, etc.

In line with the concept of “Creativity and Innovative Technology”, there are two categories of competition for the award, viz. Patent and Creativity.  For the Patent category, only those who have been granted patent by the Patent Office can be eligible for entry.  For the Creativity category, entries can be of any creative ideas related to the industry or pending patent application.
